5 Inspirational Songs To Help You Through Bullying
I know every one of us has been bullied once in our lives and a lot have been experiencing this awfulness right now. To tell you that it would get better would be hard to believe, I know. Been there, than that. So I list down 5 of the songs I think would help you believe in me. Things will get better and you're stronger and much beautiful than what you think you are.
"I’m not perfect, but I’m still beautiful,
No one can bring me down, not even you.
Get off my back, I’m telling all the world
I could make any change if I wanted,
But I feel so beautiful, just the way I am."
I won't ever believe that you've never heard of this song. Every one of us already felt and love this tune by the famous DJ, David Guetta and sang by such an incredible singer, Sia. It was truly captivating and what is more interesting about the song is its message.
1. Warrior by Demi Lovato
Demetria Devonne Lovato, famously known as Demi Lovato, has been known for her mezzo-soprano voice and very angelic face, not to mention her famous hit songs that made her one of the most sought-after young singers of today. But what most of the people don't know is that she is a fighter.
With her young age, she already fought wars including self-harm, mental eating disorders, addiction, and bullying. These were the things which got her to the most depressive state of her life and she bravely won it all. After treatments that she took full responsibility for, she is now well and strong, now helping other people who have been having the same struggles she had.
With all the hardships she had fought over, she came up with another song that can make you feel that you are strong enough to face your battles and no one even a huge coward bully can hurt you again. Because you are indeed a warrior.
"'Cause now I'm a warrior
Now I've got thicker skin
I'm a warrior
I'm stronger than I've ever been
And my armor is made of steel, you can't get in
I'm a warrior
And you can never hurt me"
Now I've got thicker skin
I'm a warrior
I'm stronger than I've ever been
And my armor is made of steel, you can't get in
I'm a warrior
And you can never hurt me"

2. Stronger by Kelly Clarkson
This song may be one great empowering song by the first-ever 'American Idol' winner, Kelly Clarkson, about being left by someone you've loved or someone like that, but its words are too powerful you can actually use it to give yourself courage when you feel alone and left out.
Surely, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I love how much impact the beat has to do with delivering the message. It's loud and upbeat, giving you the energy to stand up for yourself and not let anyone bring you down. You are strong enough to get over anything and anyone. Believe me, Kelly told us so.
"You think you got the best of me
Think you've had the last laugh
Bet you think that everything good is gone
Think you left me broken down
Think that I'd come running back
Baby, you don't know me, 'cause you're dead wrong."

Think you left me broken down
Think that I'd come running back
Baby, you don't know me, 'cause you're dead wrong."

3. 'I'm Not Perfect' by Cheesa ft. Charice
This is one of my favorite inspirational songs of all time. It was sung by Cheesa, The Voice finalist, and Charice. Every one of us must have been told or felt 'ugly' once in our lives. And this is the main point of the song. Whatever they think about you or whatever they think is beautiful, you should always believe in yourself and not change a thing just because someone had told you to. You are beautiful in any way. So please don't ever think that you're something less.
"I’m not perfect, but I’m still beautiful,
No one can bring me down, not even you.
Get off my back, I’m telling all the world
I could make any change if I wanted,
But I feel so beautiful, just the way I am."

4. 'Titanium' by David Guetta ft. Sia
I won't ever believe that you've never heard of this song. Every one of us already felt and love this tune by the famous DJ, David Guetta and sang by such an incredible singer, Sia. It was truly captivating and what is more interesting about the song is its message.
It is obviously written for the ones that had been hurt and bullied in their lives. Titanium gives us the feeling that we are strong enough to handle painful words thrown at us. We cannot be hurt anymore and we won't ever listen to them again. Because... we're titanium.
"You shout it out,
But I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud, not saying much
I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get up."
But I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud, not saying much
I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get up."

5. 'Mean' by Taylor Swift
Last but definitely not the least, another hit by one of this generation's best lyricists, Taylor Swift. This song is very direct to the point. Bullying is pathetic. Yes, Tay! We can definitely agree.
This won't just give you the courage to block off the hateful words towards us but also to dream higher and live better. This song, actually from real life experiences of the country singer, tells us how we can go on and have a brighter future while we leave all those 'mean' people behind. Who would want to be with mean people, right?
"I bet you got pushed around
Somebody made you cold
But the cycle ends right now
'Cause you can't lead me down that road
And you don't know, what you don't know..."
Somebody made you cold
But the cycle ends right now
'Cause you can't lead me down that road
And you don't know, what you don't know..."
