My First Visit to Tagaytay's People's Park in the Sky

Tagaytay has always been one of the destinations that I wanted to visit ever since, and just a few weeks ago I was finally able to see the place for myself. Tagaytay is a city in the province of Cavite, which is known for its amazing beautiful parks with stunning views of nature. I live in a province just a couple of hours away but I wasn't able to visit. But after a couple of failed plans and attempts, I found myself with a couple of friends of mine in one of Tagaytay's most popular parks, People's Park in the Sky.

To be honest, there's nothing much to do in this place but what makes it amazing is the gorgeous view that would make you feel like you are on top of the world, something that you would instantly notice as soon as you arrive at the entrance. Before you can enter the premises, you are expected to pay a 30php entrance fee. And then, you can either walk your way up to the mansion or ride a jeepney that would cost at least 5php if you are a group of people. In our case, we did walk out way up and it was a great thing because the view is very Instagram worthy.

One of the things that will greet you on your way to the mansion is the Shrine of Our Lady, Mother of Fair Love, which resides next to the park. You can go up, buy a candle and offer some prayers. The view from the church is also a majestic sight to see.

In just a few steps you'd be able to find the mansion and go up to see the amazing view Tagaytay has to offer. You can also walk around the said park and make the most of the scenery. There are souvenir and food shops inside the vicinity that sell shirts, snacks, and other memorabilia. On our visit, it was nice to see a huge number of tourists of other nationalities wandering around the place. It was such a great sight to experience. I just hope the management would focus more on the cleanliness of the place so the stay at the park would be more of a breeze and more comfortable.

It's a beautiful place to visit and I can not wait to discover more amazing places in this majestic city.
